Monday – Ever fancied yourself a singer? Calling all secret hairbrush warblers and shower sopranos – London City Reggae Choir welcomes you. Join a community of singers and celebrate Jamaica’s musical contribution to London’s culture. You will sing ska, reggae, and dancehall classics and work towards paid performance. 7:30 – 9:30pm every Monday at Stockwell’s Lost Theatre, 208 Wandsworth Road.

Tuesday – Roll up, roll up, for your last chance to see Zippos Circus in Brockwell Park. Enjoy mind-boggling stunts from tightrope acrobatics to horseback riding and some rather dangerous driving. 6pm. Adv booking advised, click here for tickets.

Wednesday – Rise with the sun for an early morning yoga class at Yoga Point and start your day the blissful way. 122 Dalberg Road, 7:30 – 8:30am. And in the evening, the only place to be is Kaff Bar for Brixton Blog’s monthly social, Meet Brixton.

Thursday –  Get yourself down to the Dogstar for BattleActs! Improvised Comedy’s show, the rather scarily named ‘Pain Edition’. The night includes games such as ‘The Scotch Bonnet Sonnet’ and ‘Underwater A-Z’, as well as some gruesome punishments such as ‘The Human cup of coffee’ & ‘The clothes Peg Facial’. Blimey.

Friday – Upstairs at the Ritzy plays host to Rock & Rollers, featuring Argentine band The Courderoys. Spin your skirts to the 60s sounds and slick guitars. 9pm till 1am £6 entry.

Saturday – Retro and vintage fashion fans will love the Retro & Vintage market on Brixton Station Road today, featuring clothes, jewellery and antiques. 10am – 5pm

Sunday – The sweet-toothed will appreciate the Kath’s Cakes Pin Up Pop Up shop at 77 Atlantic Road. The space will sell a range of home-made sweet treats, hot and cold drinks to eat in or take away and will showcase the talents of young up and coming artists and designers. 10am to 6pm.
