A series of workshops start up tonight on the plans for a new development at Somerleyton Rd. Divided into themes such as housing, health, unemployment and management, the workshops are open to local people with three sessions per theme. They will be run by the group Social Life, who work with communities on urban planning. The first workshop will look at the ideas that have been put forward so far and any other ideas. The second workshop will pin down priorities, and at the third, participants will decide what proposals to take forward.
