UPDATE: Victoria Line has now re-opened for a second time after a fire alert at Victoria Station. Entire line now running with severe delays.
Brixton Tube Station has re-opened following a fire alert, but severe delays remain on the length of the Victoria Line.
To add pressure to the bus network through the area, one lane of Brixton Road was also closed at 7.30pm to repair a gas leak at the junction of Acre Lane, Brixton Road and Brixton Hill.
Tube tickets are being accepted on (slow moving) buses, and trains run to Victoria every 15 minutes from Brixton Overground station.
