Books on the Underground are spreading the love this week by distributing romance novels, courtesy of Mills & Boon, around the London Underground.Â
Launched in October 2012, Books on the Underground is as a ‘commuter library’, which distributes a collection of literary reads on the tubes for passengers to borrow and enjoy for free, then asking them to put them back to share with others. Especially for Valentine’s Day, Â Books on the Underground have joined forces with the kings of easy-read romance, Mills & Boon, to bring the sweet words of love to the joyless commuter, in a campaign simply called Love on the Underground.
Mills & Boon have donated no fewer than 100 novels, to be distributed on the busiest lines including the Victoria line and will use the Love on the Underground campaign to showcase a number of books from their contemporary, modern, medical (!) and historical series, as well as 30 exclusive copies of the recently launched The Trouble with Valentine’s by Kelly Hunter .
