BRIXTON OXJAM: Tickets on sale now

Tickets have gone on sale for what promises to be the highlight of Brixton’s live music calendar.

Brixton Oxjam Takeover, on October 21, will see more than 45 acts perform across five venues in the town, all to raise vital cash for the charity Oxfam.

Advanced tickets, priced at £8, get you in to all venues and and are available from wegottickets.com now.

Takeover manager Nick Mendoza-Connell said sales are going well. He added: “Expect everything from dancehall to latin bass, spoken word to electronica, grime to dubstep, reggae to soul, and a whole lot more. It’s a day not to be missed!”

The Dogstar will be hosting a bass n’ beats event covering anything from spoken word to beat poetry right through to drum n’ bass and dupstep into the early hours.
