Brixton Hill councillor Florence Nosegbe will speak at the next meeting of Livity Action, a group set up to oppose housing plans for a former school in Mandrell Road.

The meeting will take place at the Community Hub, behind Londis on Lyham Road, on Monday (September 10) at 8pm.

Livity, a school for children with complex needs, is about to move to a new purpose-built site in Streatham, and Lambeth Council is holding a consultation about a complex land swap that would see the former Livity site, in Mandrell Road, developed as housing and an empty site on Sudbourne Road developed as an extention to Sudbourne Primary School.

The consultation is due to end on October 29.
