Brixton Oxjam festival needs your help

The organisers of Brixton’s biggest multi-venue music festival, the Oxjam Takeover, are looking for volunteers to help organise this year’s event.

Nick Mendoza-Connell, 2012 manager, is advertising for fundraising, marketing and production coordinators for the event which will take place in pubs and clubs across Brixton in October. Applications for the unpaid roles close on Sunday (6 May).

Last year the Oxjam festival in Brixton saw 30 bands playing at Plan-B, The Windmill, The Dogstar and Upstairs at the Ritzy. It is part of a nationwide event raising money for the charity Oxfam.

  1. Really looking forward to this! I am also organising my own event for Oxjam this year, will hopefully be at the Dogstar. I hope with the competition from the Takeover I will still get enough people interested! I’ll keep you posted 🙂
