Network Rail has pushed back the date of its eviction of the arches traders.
A post on the Brixton Community United Facebook page said: “Network Rail have written to all the tenants and announced a stay of execution.
“Notices will now not be served in July, they’ll come in September with no one being asked to leave before March 2016.”
The petition to halt the eviction of the businesses from the railway arches has now reached over 20,000.
