Brixton local Ryan J. Matthews-Robinson, better known as Ragz-CV, has released his first spoken word album Soul Lyrical that is on sale exclusively at the Black Cultural Archives’ shop.
With vocalists, piano and saxophone, it touches on topics including mental health, youth violence and identity. Ragz-CV has previously raised over £10,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society and founded the charity Poetic Unity which has helped thousands of young people across the country.
