A night of discussion about the psychology behind dating and relationships. Psychologist Morgan Ereku reveals the truth behind the science of relationships. An fun interactive evening with audience discussion, Q&A, quizzes and prizes.

Annual Erotic Lounge LGBT Valentine’s night
7pm, Friday 14 February

Billed as a “delicious feast celebrating the power of Black erotica, love, attraction and desire through poetry, prose and performance” this promises to be a fascinating evening of erotic poetry. The following poets and writers will share their passion for erotica: Keith Jarett, Jacq Applebee, Matthew N, Godwyns O and Sirena Reynolds.

So Love Jones Night – Love Poetry

If you have ever loved, lost in love, hungered for love, fallen in love, fallen out of love or sacrificed for love then the ‘So Love Jones Night’ of poetry, prose and song is dedicated to you. Aimed at “creating a cosy loving space to celebrate and reflect on love”, there’ll be five artists performing including poets, singers and DJs.

Tickets are £5 and you can buy them from Brixton Library or online www.theafrikanfamilyworks.net. There’ll be champagne, scrumptious cupcakes, hot Caribbean buffet and a classic Jamaican rum punch. What more could you want?
